Description
GREAT BRITAIN / Wilding Definitives The 1952-54 set of 17 values with Tudor Crown watermark, all overprinted "CANCELLED" and with the top right corner neatly trimmed off (this was a security measure of the times). These were produced by Harrisons as samples of their work. A very rare set indeed, fresh and very fine lightly mounted mint with no faults (the stamps were mounted onto an album page and will be delivered as such, as in the third picture). NOT LISTED BY GIBBONS. NOTE: This item is currently in the possession of a business partner in Europe and will take about 10 days longer than normal to deliver NO STOCK PHOTOS -- THE ITEMS DISPLAYED ARE THE ITEMS YOU BUY TERMS OF SALE: (1) The eBay rules dictate that I can only accept PayPal in settlement for this purchase -- there are no alternative methods available except for a bank transfer -- details on request. (2) The base shipping cost quoted is for first class mail in the USA, first class airmail elsewhere. Note that I only charge a small shipping fee for the first item; any subsequent items purchased and paid for at the same time are delivered free. I allow you five days to combine items for mailing and payment, but please let me know your intentions after winning the first item. (3) I ship on the first working day after settlement, and I do not control the postal service, therefore I have no control on how long they take to deliver. It generally takes 2 to 4 days to deliver first class mail within the USA, 7 to 10 days for airmail Europe, and anywhere from 8 to 20 days by airmail elsewhere. Registered airmail generally takes a little longer. Overseas priority mail usually takes 6 to 10 days depending on the country being shipped to. (4) For sendings with a total value of $20 or more I always obtain a certificate of posting; for sendings with a value of $100 or more I always send by insured certified mail within the USA, and by insured registered airmail anywhere else; sendings with a value of $350 or more are always sent by insured priority mail no matter where you live. (5) I supply clear photographs and good descriptions, and will not accept returns for what is clearly described and/or displayed. (6) I will not falsify shipping documents on international orders; in particular, I am obliged to state a customs value when mailing, and will do so as required by law. (7) eBay rules are that you pay for an item within 7 days. If you end up not paying, it costs me a lot of money in listing fees and carrying inventory, so if I do not receive your payment within 8 days I will be forced to file a non-payment procedure. (8) Should you decide to acquire a certificate of authenticity for this item, I will refund the cost of the certificate and all mailing costs incurred provided the following conditions are met: i) You advise me within 10 days of receipt of the item that you are going to seek certification. ii) The certificate is issued by either the Royal Philatelic Society or BPA Expertising. iii) The certificate does not agree that the item is genuine. iv) The item is returned to me in the same condition as which it left my office, along with said certificate, within 120 days of purchase.
